Letha Irene Hackney -- 104 years

Letha Irene Hackney will celebrate her 104th birthday on Wednesday Jan. 2, 2013, with much of her family present. Mrs. Hackney has lived her whole life in Vernon County and continues to live at home with her daughter in Nevada.

Family notes that if she were to be asked what she did to have such a long life, she would tell everyone to have a good cry, laugh and always love your life and family for GOD has given you only one of each and without HIS blessings none of this would have happened.

Letha will spend her special day with her three living children, Donald Timbers of Sedalia, and Anna Louise Stacy and James Hackney of Nevada, their spouses, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
