Margie M. (Dennis) Carter, 90, of El Dorado Springs, Mo., passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013, into the loving arms of our Father. Margie married Marvin Carter on Jan. 20, 1941. They were married almost 50 years before Marvin passed away in 1990. Marvin and Margie had two children, James and Cheryl. Cheryl passed away as an infant.

Margie and Marvin lived their entire lives in El Dorado Springs, Mo., where they ran the Carter's Market Grocery Store along with Marvin's brothers. The family business was well-known and Margie was always kind to everyone. She enjoyed her life and her family. She was a very devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and had numerous friends. She was a hard worker and a wonderful Christian woman. She was always doing for others and didn't give a second thought to go help out her grandchildren whenever in need. Margie always had a deep faith and was blessed to be a member of the First Baptist Church in El Dorado Springs, where she enjoyed such wonderful fellowship with her Sunday school class.

Preceding Margie in death were her husband, Marvin; her parents, Bessie and Roy Dennis; and her daughter, Cheryl Jo.
