Tammi Jo Patterson

Tammi Jo Patterson, 48, Harwood, Mo., passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013, at Cedar County Hospital, El Dorado Springs, Mo., following a lengthy illness. She was born June 9, 1964, in Nevada, Mo., to Glenn Dale Vandenburg Sr. and Susie Leona "Mickey" Stone Vandenburg.

Tammi lived in Nevada all of her life. She worked for a time at the Sheltered Workshop and attended the First Baptist Church in Nevada.

Survivors include her companion, Floyd E. Bennett, of the home; two sisters, Alice Sue Barrett, New York City, N.Y., and Rita Kay Barrett, state of Nebraska; two brothers, Donald Ray Barrett, state of Texas, and Glenn Vandenburg Jr., Joplin, Mo.; and best friends, Mary Kay, Danny, Rose, and Darlene. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, March 22, at Moore Cemetery, Nevada. Arrangements are under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
