Virginia L. Moore

Virginia L. Moore, 80, Nevada, Mo., died on Saturday, March 23, 2013. She was born on Aug. 17,1932, in Rich Hill, Mo., to Elijah Butler and Wilma Smith Butler. She enjoyed a blessed life sharing with her many friends from the First Baptist Church of Nevada and those she had worked with during her 40 years of living in Nevada.

Virginia worked at the Nevada State Hospital, Thornton Bank, Bank of America, and for Walmart. She was a member of the Nevada Regional Medical Center Auxiliary.

She is survived by two sons, Kirk Moore and his wife, Sue, of Spring, Texas, and Mark Moore and his wife, Susan, of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren, Katee Gray and her husband, Corby Gray, Kyle Moore, Karlee Moore, Matthew Moore and his wife, Katelin Moore, and Lisa Carnes and her husband, Joshua Carnes; and one great-grandchild, Cambryn Gray.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, March 28, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Interment will follow at Newton Burial Park in Nevada.

Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada, and the family will receive friends at the funeral home 7 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 27.
