Bonnie Jean Taylor, 86, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013, at her home in Nevada. She was born March 27, 1927, in Overland Park, Kan., to Wiley Clifton Langdon and Gertrude Elsie Stephens Langdon. She was married to LeRoy Holder in 1945, in Paso Robles, Calif. Later, she was married to Malcomb M. Taylor, in California, and he preceded her in death in July 1983.

Bonnie moved to Crawford, Neb., at age 13 and graduated from Crawford High School in 1945. She has lived most of her life in Nevada since 1983. Bonnie was a homemaker and a loving mother. She liked making crafts. Bonnie also collected Indian and angel figurines, dolls and crafts. Her favorite things later in life were crossword puzzles and reading.

Survivors include her children, Gloria Drinnen and her husband, Lonny, Peabody, Kan., Sharon Christie and her husband, Glen, Nevada, Mo., Rick Holder, Janesville, Wis., and Mike Taylor and his wife Donna, Pleasantview, Tenn.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Malcomb; one sister, Betty Alkire; and three children, Holly Kay Holder and twins, Roger and Robin Holder.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Hubert Fox officiating. The family receives friends from 1-2 p.m., Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
