Funding for public schools is important

Dear Editor:

I think it is unwise to cut funding to public schools. I think students from poorer families might lose the chance to get an education. I went to public schools and was always able to get a job. If more people are unable to work because of lack of education it will cause them to go on government assistance, which will cause bigher taxes.

Also, on dropping Missouri income taxes and going to a higher sales tax. I think that is a bad idea. I think it would make a hardship on small business owners.
