Georgia Frances Bullock

Georgia Frances Bullock, 92, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013, at Christian Healthcare in Nevada following two years of loving care. She was born Jan. 6, 1921, in Sheldon, Mo., to James Clyde McCowan and Hettie Maude Heryford McCowan. She married Max G. Bullock on July 22, 1939, in Nevada, Mo., and he preceded her in death on April 12, 1988.

Georgia was raised on a farm near Milo and attended Nevada High School. She worked for Key Work Clothes in Nevada for a number of years and also worked in retail sales for some time. Georgia attended Community Christian Church. She volunteered for the Nevada City Hospital women's auxiliary.

Survivors include three children, Maxine LuPardus, Yelm, Wash., Frances Fuerst, Battlefield, Mo., and Gene Bullock and his wife Pattie, Richmond, Mo.; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Doyle McCowan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Larry Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada.

Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends from 10-10:30 a.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
