Barry Dean Stark born on March 18, 1957, passed away on May 29, 2013, after a long battle with kidney and heart disease.

Dean had been employed by Southwest Community Service (Nevada Habilitation Center), working with challenged individuals -- a career that started several years ago at Heartland Hospital in Nevada, and one for which he was very proud. A life-long resident of the Nevada area, most friends associated Dean with a love of riding mules, playing cards, and most recently, a love of motorcycles. He had an infectious laugh and an ornery nature which will be missed by many.

He is survived by four daughters, Jessi Morgan of Joplin, Mo., Crystalyn Campos of Moundville, Mo., Marry Ellen Aleman of Concord, Calif., and Jennifer Stark of Nevada; his mother, Sherry Anderson of Linneus, Mo.; two brothers, John Stark of Milo, Mo., and Gary Johnston of Laclede, Mo.; and a sister, Carrie Johnston of Overland Park, Kan. Dean was a loving grandfather to five beloved grandchildren, Santiago Ebel, Antonio Ebel, Ethan Hunt, Cuyler Hunt, and Bella Morgan.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 22, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
