Edna Marthabelle Jenson, 92, Nevada, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada. Edna was born April 19, 1921, in Rich Hill, Mo., to Charles Edmond White and Sarah Kathryn Van Cleeve White. She was married to Claude Stewart on Nov. 4, 1939, in Butler, Mo., and he preceded her in death in 1970. She later married Ralph Jenson and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1990.

Edna lived in Rich Hill and graduated from high school there in 1939. She lived in Oregon for 10 years before returning to Rich Hill. Edna worked for King Radio in Olathe, Kan., for 19 years and came to Nevada in 1980, where she has lived the remainder of her life. Edna was a member of Maranatha Christian Fellowship in Nevada.

Survivors include four sons, Lawrence Claude Stewart, Lake Charles, La., James Edmond Stewart, Rosston, Ark., Raymond Leroy Stewart, and Paul Clyde Stewart, both of Nevada; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and spouses, Edna was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Edna Stone; two brothers, Charles White and David King White; two sisters, Lillie Mae Summers and Mary Frances Swope; one granddaughter, Linda Stewart; and one great-grandson, Dustin Keggeries.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 26, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Robert Fox officiating. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Rich Hill. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
