Donna Marie (Spillman) Berry, 64, was born April 30, 1949, in Nevada, to Virginia Ruth (Hampton) and Clarence Richard Spillman. She went home to the Lord Tuesday, July 2, 2013, after battling re-occurring illnesses spanning more than 5 years.

She grew up on the family dairy farm. She graduated from Nevada High School in 1967. Shortly before her 18th birthday, she was injured in an auto accident which paralyzed her from the chest down. She spent the rest of her life confined in a wheelchair. She remained active by flea marketing and babysitting her many nieces and nephews. She was saved and baptized in 2012, and became an active member of the Pine Street Baptist Church in Nevada.

She married Claude Berry June 18, 1971. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother, Earl Spillman; a sister, Judy Fleming; two nephews; and one niece. She is survived by two sisters, Virginia Smith of Sheldon, and Phyllis Spillman of the home; two brothers, John Spillman of Fresno, Calif., and Aaron Spillman of Washington state; 17 nieces and nephews; 29 great-nieces and nephews; and three great-great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 6, at Pine Street Baptist Church, Nevada, with the Rev. Chad Bailey officiating. Casketbearers were Anthony Palmer, Corey Spillman, Randy Miler, Mason Olson, David Hampton, and Jason Hinds. Interment was in Marvin Chapel Cemetery, Nevada.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill.
