Amanda J. David - Christopher J. Chick

Denny and Nancy David of Nevada announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Jo David, to Christopher James Chick of Harrisburg, son of Leslie Howard of Harrisburg, and Frankie Chick Jr. of Columbia.

Amanda is a graduate of Nevada High School and is currently employed as a legal assistant by Deacy & Deacy in Kansas City, Mo., having been in law as a paralegal/legal assistant for the past 11 years.

Christopher is a graduate of Harrisburg High School and is currently serving in the United States Army as a sergeant, stationed at Leavenworth, Kan., having previously completed three overseas tours.

The couple are planning to be married in the fall of 2013 and will reside in Kansas City.
