Myrle B. Shaw

Myrle B. Shaw, 89, of Harwood, Mo., died peacefully at home on Aug. 3, 2013.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Pat, of 38 years. He had one sister, Myrtle Spencer, El Dorado Springs; four sons, Myrle W. Shaw and wife, Elaine, El Dorado Springs, Mark Fenton and his wife, Shelley, Shawnee, Kan., Mike Fenton and his wife, Sherl, Shawnee, Kan., and Randall Fenton and his wife, Susan, Windham, N.H.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Myrle owned and operated his own saw mill for many years. His interests included steam engines, bee keeping, reading and sharing stories. He farmed the first 30 years of his life with his dad, Charles.

He was a man who never compromised his convictions. He was a committed member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, attending in Jericho Springs and the last 37 years at the Nevada SDA Church. Myrle's family looks forward to being reunited with him at the resurrection.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Nevada Seventh Day Adventist Church, 15467 E. Quail Road, Nevada.
