Nevada Middle School to host volleyball clinic

Nevada Middle School is set to host its annual volleyball skills practice and clinic Aug. 19-21, in the Nevada Middle School gymnasium.

The clinic is open to all fifth- through eighth-grade girls interested in playing volleyball. The $25 registration fee includes instruction, a clinic T-shirt and snacks for all three days.

The clinic is scheduled to be held from 3-4:15 p.m., on Aug. 19, and from 3-5 p.m., on Aug. 20 and 21. Registration forms and additional information are available in the middle school office.

Tryouts for the Nevada Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade volleyball teams will be held on Aug. 22 and 23, from 3-5 p.m. Prospective players must have a completed athletic physical on file.

Athletes are not required to have attended the clinic to be able to participate in the team tryouts.
