Robert Junior Adams Jr.

Robert Junior Adams Jr., 66, Nevada, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at the Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada. He was born Feb. 4, 1947, to Robert Junior Adams Sr. and Juanita Alkire Adams. He was first united in marriage to Martha Christine Nunez who still survives of Nevada. His wife Susan, to whom he was later married, passed away Sept. 17, 1999. He then married Deborah on Feb. 15, 2003, in Nevada, and she survives of the home.

Robert worked as the park maintenance supervisor for the city of Nevada until his retirement. He then began driving a bus for Nevada R-5 Schools, a job he has held for the past 10 years. His hobbies included fishing, going to the lake, spending time in the pool. He enjoyed his family and taking road trips, always on the spur of the moment.

Survivors in addition to his wife, Deborah, include two daughters, Misty Dawn McGraw and her husband, Vernon, Nevada, and Stormy Lynn Moore and her husband, Doug, West Virginia; two stepsons, Todd Randall Jordan and his wife, Mandi, Nevada, Brian Scott Jordan and his wife, D.D., Columbia, S.C.; one stepdaughter, Sadie Poland, Adrian, Mo.; and four grandchildren, Tiffany Dawn McGraw, Reanna Christine McGraw, Emma Renae Jordan, and Adam Nathanial Jordan. Aside from his wife Susan, he was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dale Adams; and one sister, Linda Milligan.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, Sept. 9, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with the Rev. Mark Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the Newton Burial Park, Nevada. The family will receive friends Sunday, Sept. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
