Nevada softball routs Butler
The Nevada Lady Tigers softball team got back to its winning ways Wednesday, with a 15-0 rout of the Butler Lady Bears at Bushwhacker Field.
After junior right-hander Maddie Hedges worked out of a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the first inning, the Lady Tigers scored five runs in each of their first two at-bats and the game ended after Michaela Brewer drove in the 15th run with no outs in the bottom of the fourth inning. Reagan Bradley had a triple, a double and a single in three at-bats and five other Lady Tigers had two hits apiece as Nevada improved to 6-12 for the season.
Next on the schedule for the Lady Tigers is at 3:30 p.m., Friday, when they head back out on the road to take on Skyline.
