Campout set for Saturday

The Nevada Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Mother/Son Mini Campout, Saturday, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Radio Springs Park.

The campout begins at 4 p.m., with a scavenger hunt, fishing, Minute-to-Win-it type games, an inflatable obstacle course and the roasting of hot dogs.

The evening will end at 6 p.m., around the campfire, where participants will roast s'mores and hear a great tale from Nevada's very own storyteller.

In the event of snow or rain, the campout will be moved to the community center.

There is a $3 fee per adult.
