Paul William Jadlow Sr.

Paul William Jadlow Sr., 69 of Nevada, Mo., passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at the Nevada Regional Medical Center. He was born June 23, 1944, in Nevada, to Joseph Martin and Polly Jean (Yancey) Jadlow. On June 23, 1964, he was united in marriage to Betty Louise Taylor and she survives of the home.

Paul attended school locally and graduated with Nevada's Class of 1962. For many years he worked at Maxwell's Grocery then became co-owner of Paul and Jerry's Grocery and Locker Plant on Atlantic. Throughout the years he always enjoyed motorcycles and also liked working on them, was a coin collector, and as of late enjoyed computers and watching the Cooking Channel.

Aside from his wife, Betty, Paul is survived by two children, Deena L. Stone and Dennis, of Nevada, and Paul W. Jadlow Jr. and Beth, of Aurora; one brother, Joseph M. Jadlow Jr. and Janice, of Stillwater, Okla.; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Crawford, Brandi Quackenbush, Taylor Jadlow, Alexandra VanHousen, Kaylee Lolley, Nicholas Jadlow, and Landon Jadlow; one great-granddaughter, Rylee Lane Quackenbush; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 21, at Ferry Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Newton Burial Park in Nevada. Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20, at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Paul's name to Hospice Compassus in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
