NRMC hires interim CEO

David Hample will serve as interim Chief Executive Officer after Judy Feuquay's departure as CEO Feb. 28, according to the NRMC Board of Trustees.

Hample, who has broad experience in managing non-profit hospitals, has been with Quorum Health Resources, Inc. since 1993, according to a press release. Prior to Nevada, he was the CEO of Montrose Memorial Hospital, in Montrose, Colo. Under his leadership, the hospital received the QHR 2011 leadership award for Quality Initiatives and he was named QHR CEO of the year in 2012.

Hample holds a bachelor of science in accounting from Metropolitan State College, Denver, Colo., a minor in business management, and graduated magna cum laude in 1971. He received his master of business administration in 1984 at the University of Maine at Orono, in Orono, Maine.

David and his wife Lenore have been married for 45 years and have two children and one grandchild. He will head the hospital until a permanent Chief Executive Officer is hired to take the helm.
