Council considers Atlantic Estates final plat

The Nevada City Council will be holding a public hearing and then considering the final plat and development for Atlantic Estates, in the 300 block of East Atlantic during tonight's council meeting at 7 in the council chambers in the Public Safety Building, 120 S. Ash Street.

The council will also be holding the first reading of an ordinance approving a change order to the city's contract with Miller Construction Inc., of El Dorado Springs for the construction of the new clubhouse at the Twin Lakes Sports Complex.

Other items under consideration include a resolution approving a city picnic temporary liquor by the drink license to the Diana's Club and the final reading of an ordinance accepting a water line easement for the Cottey College waterline replacement project.

The council will also be holding the final reading of an ordinance accepting the bid and approving the lease/purchase agreement with U.S. Bancorp Government Leasing and Finance Inc., and an ordinance amending the 2014 water and sewer fund budget to account for the purchase of four replacement pumps at the wastewater treatment plant.
