Felony assault arrest made by Nevada Police

Nevada Police report that they have concluded an investigation into a felony assault case that occurred during the early morning hours of July 4th. The reported assault occurred at a business in the 700 block of N. Osage.

Upon arrival on the scene, responding Nevada Police Officers located an unconscious 37-year-old male suffering from an apparent head injury caused by multiple fist strikes. Ambulance personnel arrived and transported the victim to the Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment. The police located the 23-year-old suspect at the scene and arrested the Nevada resident, identified as:

Cameron Lee Cartwright

Cartwright is being held at the Vernon County Jail on the following arrest warrant, issued by the Vernon County Associate Circuit Court.

1. Assault 1st Degree - Class B Felony

The arrested subject is being held on a $25,000 cash only bond.
