Helen Irma Loveless, 98, of Nevada, passed from this life Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, at Nevada Nursing and Rehab, in Nevada. She was born on Feb. 24, 1916, in Bates County, Mo., to Benjamin Franklin Loveless and Mary Isabelle (Burk) Loveless.

Helen was raised in Bates County and worked for the IRS in Kansas City, until her retirement. She moved to Vernon County in 2007 to be near family. She attended a non-denominational church that followed New Testament teachings. Her hobbies were reading, crocheting and embroidery and she enjoyed flowers.

Survivors include two nieces, Janet Snead, of Nevada, and Ruth MacQuithy, of Ozark, Mo.; two nephews, Wayne Davis, of Camdenton, Mo., and Carl Davis, of Buffalo, Mo.; and several great-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John Loveless; two sisters, Hazel Davis and infant, Elsie Loveless; infant niece, Iris Loveless; and fiancé, Edgar Stevens.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Domenic Enrietta and Warren Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Schell City, Mo.
