Dorothy Jean Wagner, 78, Nevada, Mo., went to be with the Lord on Oct. 21, 2014, at her home in Nevada, surrounded by family. Dorothy was born Sept. 20, 1936, in rural Vernon County, the second daughter of Leo and Elsie Fox Ogle.

Dorothy raised seven children while working as a waitress in the Kansas City area. In 1984, she graduated from Practical Nursing School. She then worked as a nurse for 13 years in Nevada and the surrounding areas.

She enjoyed fishing with her husband, Robert Wagner, who preceded her in death in 2006. She frequently took a video camera fishing with her to record any animals they saw. She loved nature.

She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Mary Kay Anderson, Higginsville, Mo., Darlene Leimkiller and her husband, David, Nevada, Donna Jean Raggo, of the home, Mabel Pryor and her husband, Dale, Bronaugh, Mo., Patricia Sue "Susie" Ellis, Pullman, Wash., James Ensor and his wife, Gina, Schell City, Mo., and Debbie Manly, Joplin, Mo.; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, friends and adopted family as well.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Mary Murry and Kathy Broyles; her son, Rolla Ensor; and son-in-law, Jay Manly.

"Waggy" we love you and you will be greatly missed, "Oceans of Love."

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, at Ferry Funeral Home, in Nevada, with the Rev. Scotty Pritchett officiating. Interment will follow in Green Mound Cemetery, Harwood. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home.
