Eric Perkins -- Dr. Wanda Miller

James and Carol Miller, of Nevada, Mo., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Dr. Wanda Miller, to Eric Perkins.

Eric is the son of John and Barb Perkins, of York, Neb. He graduated from Red Cloud High School in Red Cloud, Neb., in 1993. He attended Peru State College in Peru, Neb., and graduated with an education and social science degree. Eric currently employed as a training specialist at the Beatrice State Development Center, in Beatrice, Neb. He will graduate in May with a master's degree in organizational management from Peru State College.

Wanda graduated from Nevada High School in 2001 and attended Central Missouri State University, in Warrensburg, Mo., where she achieved her bachelors of arts in psychology and minor in Spanish. After graduating, Wanda continued her education at CMSU achieving her master's of science in psychology. She continue on to Springfield, Mo., where she pursued her doctorate in clinical psychology at Forest Institute. She currently works as a Licensed Psychologist at Beatrice State Development Center, in Beatrice, Neb.

The wedding is set for May 30, 2015, at 2 p.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Nevada.
