Joyce "Joy" E. Kimbrough

Joyce "Joy" E. Kimbrough, 89, Nevada, died March 31, 2015, at Spring River Christian Village, following a short illness. Joy was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Neosho, and was a lifelong area resident.

She worked at Cudahay cheese for more than 15 years and was a homemaker. She loved to garden, dance, animals and spending time with her family.

Joy and William "Glen" Kimbrough were married on June 19, 1965, in Neosho, and he preceded her in death on June 4, 2005.

She is survived by three children, Jim Burrell and wife, Janet, of Nevada, Nancy Ann Buzzard and husband, Steve, of Shell Knob, and Jenny Soldavini and husband, Gary, of Roswell, Ga.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday, April 4, at 10 a.m., at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, and Billy Martin will officiate. Interment will follow in the Spring Valley Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, on Friday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
