Hinton's bases clearing double sparks wild Tigers comeback

The young Nevada Tigers showed maturity beyond their years Saturday afternoon at Lyons Stadium, erasing a late five-run deficit, en route to defeating the Pittsburg Purple Dragons 13-11. With the victory, the Tigers improve to 5-1 (4-0 West Central Conference).

Nevada freshman Braeden Hinton came up with the go-ahead 3-RBI double in the bottom of the sixth inning. In addition, Hinton picked up his first career victory. Nevada's Andy Heathman notched his second save of the season, closing the door on Pittsburg in the top of the seventh of inning.
