Brent Allen Mogan

Brent Allen Mogan, 34, of El Dorado Springs, Mo., went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 16, 2015. Brent was born Aug. 4, 1980, to Michael and Doris Mogan in Independence, Mo.

Brent moved to El Dorado Springs in 1988, graduating from El Dorado Springs High School in 1999. Many lifelong friends were made. He loved to cook, detail cars, and was a computer wiz. He loved to spend time with his son, Carter, and his faithful Great Dane, "Tyson."

Preceding Brent in death were his maternal grandparents, Carl and Betty Lewallen, of Lamar, Mo.

Survivors include one son, Carter, of Columbia, Mo.; grandparents, Dick and Beverly Mogan, of El Dorado Springs; father, Michael Mogan, of El Dorado Springs; mother, Doris Millman and stepdad, Henry Millman, of Milo, Mo.; one sister, Misty Buller; two brothers, Nate Scarberry and Tyler Millman, all of Milo; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. Brent will be missed by all.

Funeral services for Brent Mogan were held on Sunday, April 19, at 2 p.m., at Bland-Hackleman Chapel, with the Rev. Brent Bland officiating. Interment followed in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Joe Robison, Kameron Perrodin, Jabe Moore, Sean Mayberry, Nate Scarberry, Henry Millman and Tyler Millman.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to help the family with expenses and left at the funeral home.
