She was born June 19, 1954, in Nevada, the daughter of Joe Stanley and Shirley Ann (Klotz) Vincent. She was united in marriage to Joe Skillman on Jan. 26, 1985, in Nevada, and he survives of the home.

Early in her life, Sherrial, along with her family moved to the Deerfield area where she attended grade school for four years until its closing. At that time she transferred to Nevada schools and graduated from Nevada High School in 1972. Sherrial became interested in the nursing field and attended nursing school. After obtaining her LPN license she began working at the Nevada State Hospital and continued to work there for 18 years until its closing in 1991. She also worked at the Nevada Regional Medical Center in the Drug and Alcohol Rehab Unit for two years.

After her marriage to Joe, they made their home in Nevada and Sherrial devoted her life to raising their four children. She especially enjoyed watching them grow from children into adults. Sherrial loved her family and spending time with them, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. In her spare time she liked watching birds and squirrels, her flowers, and going to Branson shows. Sherrial was a devoted member of the Nevada Assembly of God. She was a great person who will be sadly missed.

In addition to her husband, Joe, she is survived by her four children, Brian Skillman of the home, Kim Burrus of Nevada, Christina Skillman of Joplin, and Michael Skillman of Kansas City; three grandchildren, Kendra Shepherd and her husband, Michael, Logan Burrus, and Dalton Skillman all of Nevada; five great-grandchildren; her parents, Joe and Shirley; one brother, Wesley Vincent and his wife, Noni, of Lebanon; a nephew, Chris Vincent and his wife, Stacy, their children, Cole and Brynn, of Springfield; and two nieces, Melissa Vincent, and her children, Caden, Brock and Brody, Phoenix, Ariz., and Missy Kallenbach and her husband, Roger, and their daughter, Jackie; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
