Hedges picks up victory in defeat of North Arkansas

As their regular-season winds down, the Cottey Comets softball team earned a split with North Arkansas College, Monday in Harrison, Ark.
Behind a solid six inning performance from Comets starting pitching Madison Hedges, Cottey won the first game 11-7. For Cottey, sophomore Katherine Brockus was 3-for-4 with 3 RBIs, while freshman Karliegh Conner was 3-for-5 with an RBI.
The Comets fell in the nightcap 12-1. Conner was 2-for-2 at the plate with an RBI, while sophomore Kaitlyn Hill drove in a run.
