Deann Marie Farmer

Deann Marie Farmer, 76, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at her home in Liberal, Mo. She was born on Aug. 3, 1939, in Liberal, to Hurchal Rolando and Maude Marie (Sisseck) Rolando.

Deann was the oldest of 12 children and helped raise her brothers and sisters as well as her own children. She was a member of the Methodist Church, in Bronaugh, Mo. Deann enjoyed family relationships.

She is survived by one daughter, Lamona Peterson (Mike), Oskalooa, Mo.; one son, Roy Farmer (Linda), Bronaugh, Mo.; six grandchildren, Rachel Jones (Jesse), Bronaugh, Chris Farmer (Ashley), Pittsburg, Kan., Travis Farmer and Scott Farmer, both of Moundville, Mo., and Shawn Peterson and Sheena Peterson, both of Oskaloosa; two great-grandchildren, Issac and Hailey Jones; and nine siblings, Joe Rolando, state of Colorado, Pansy Legall (Ted), Clinton, Mo., Ruth Hopkins, Kansas City, Mo., Patty Gibbs, El Dorado Springs, Mo., Tony Rolando (Anita) Nevada, Francis Hill (Dennis) Lamar, Mo., Cathy Davis (Dan), Fort Scott, Kan., Terry Rolando (Donna), Joplin, Mo., and Joyce Gregg (Jim), Carthage, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Darrin Louis Farmer; one sister, Susie Evans; and one brother, Clinton Rolando.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, at Ferry Funeral Home, in Nevada. Interment will follow in Bluff Cemetery, Barton County, Mo. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 17, at the funeral home
