Dale E. Woods

Dale E. Woods, 74, Independence, Mo., passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016, at the Groves, in Independence, following a long illness. Dale was born Aug. 26, 1941, in Nevada, Mo., to Ralph and Lilly (Fleming) Woods. He was united in marriage to Alice Joan May and she survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, Alice, he is survived by one son, Alan, of Lee's Summit, Mo.; two grandsons, Bradyn and Bradly Woods, both of Nevada, Mo.; one sister, Carol Barker, of Overland Park, Kan.; one sister-in-law, Beverly Balk, of Nevada; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Contributions may be made in is memory to Vernon County Cancer Relief in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
