Howard R. High

Howard R. High, 77, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016, in Nevada. Howard was born on Jan. 30, 1939, in Nevada, to Chester William High and Sue (White) High. He was raised in Nevada and attended Nevada High School.

Howard served in the U.S. Air Force for a time. He had lived and worked in Chicago for 55 years before returning to Nevada in 2015. Howard was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Survivors include his brother, Maurice High, of Nevada; his nephew, Brandon High; and his niece, Vanessa Lawrence and her daughter, Lilly, all of Nevada. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dallas High; and one sister, Cheryl Palmer.

A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 28, at Moore Cemetery in Nevada.

Services are under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
