Cleo Nell "Bobbie" Fossett

Cleo Nell "Bobbie" Fossett, 90, Nevada, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at her home in Nevada. Cleo was born Feb. 20, 1926, in Bridgeport, Okla., to Eris and Mary (Carpenter) Shanklin. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Fossett on July 1, 1943, in Hinton, Okla., and he preceded her in death.

Cleo was raised in the Bridgeport, Okla., area. She attended the Bridgeport schools. In 1975, she came to Nevada and has continued to reside here since that time. Cleo was a member of the First Baptist Church, in Nevada, and was an active member of the Glory Choir.

Survivors include her children; two sons, Dwight Fossett and his wife, Nancy, Spring Hill, Tenn., and Harold Esthel Fossett and his wife, Jeannie, Kinsgton, Okla.; two daughters, Pamela Fossett, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jama Bogart, Nevada; three sisters, Bonnie Huser, Carolyn Ralston, and Phyllis Hale; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, LeRoy; one son, Jonathan Fossett; four brothers; five sisters; and one great-grandson, Dax.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 25, at the First Baptist Church, in Hinton, Okla. Interment will follow in Hinton Cemetery, Hinton, Okla.

Friends may call at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada from now and until 2 p.m., Saturday.
