Tiger JV, freshman football teams fall at Seneca

The Nevada Tiger junior varsity and freshman football teams were defeated Monday in Seneca in the season opener for both squads. The JV Tigers fell 34-12, while the freshman team was beat 58-6.

Both the the JV and freshman teams are back in action Monday as they host McDonald County High School at Logan Field.
The junior varsity game is slated for a 5 p.m. kickoff, followed by the freshman game at 6:30. Week three of the season (Sept. 6) has the JV team traveling to Kansas City to face St. Pius X, while the freshman team is at home hosting Monett.
