Leland L. Lee, 83, of Warsaw, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, in Columbia, Mo. He was born on Sept. 7, 1933, in Butler, Mo., the son of Christian and Viola (Turpin) Hill.

Leland worked as an electrician in Butler, Mo., and later owned and operated the laundry mat and the sewing center. In 1965, he began work for Culligan in Sedalia and Warsaw. He was an accomplished businessman, avid fisherman and a helping hand to his neighbors and community.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Martha Lee; a son, Phillip Eugene Lee; and a sister, Verenda Mae.

He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Lee, of Fort Scott, Kan., and Glenda Gayle Shaffer, of Adrian, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Brenda Harms, of Windsor, Mo.; five grandchildren, Kathy Lee, of Nevada, Mo., Michelle Pugh, of Nevada, Mo., Michael Voigt and his wife, Trisha, of Nevada, Mo., Kara Entrop, and her husband, Ashton, of Sedalia, Mo., and Dana Brown and her husband, Aaron, of Windsor, Mo.; six great-grandchildren, Shana Smith, and her husband, Wesley, of Georgia, Brandon Stukesbary of Nevada, Mo., Skyler Crews of Arkansas, CayLee Crews of Nevada, Mo., Paige Voigt of Nevada, Mo., and Mikey Welch of Liberty, Mo.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Sept. 19, at the Reser Funeral Home, in Warsaw, Mo. Graveside services and interment will be at 2 p.m., Monday, at the Oak Hill Cemetery, in Butler, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either Twin Lakes Hospice or American Diabetes Association in care of Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, Mo.
