7th-grade Tigers dispatch Joplin South

The Nevada Tigers seventh-grade football team (3-2) roughed up Joplin South Thursday night in Joplin, winning 30-14. Nevada received two rushing touchdowns from Devin Austin, one from Eli Cheaney and one from Kartman Highley.

On the defensive side of the ball, Cheaney had two interceptions, while Highley had one. Highley and Logan Marquardt racked up double-digit tackles. The "B" game with Joplin South ended in a 12-12 tie, with Austin and Max Julian scoring TDs.
