Melba Florence Bley Cousins

Melba Florence Bley Cousins, 79, left her earthly body behind in Big Cabin, Okla., on Dec. 26, joining her savior, Jesus Christ, in heaven after a lifetime of faithful service.

Memorial services for Melba will be held on Saturday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church at 378 Oak Street, Big Cabin, Okla. Cremation arrangements are being made with Stephens-Key Funeral and Cremation Care.

Gathering of friends and family at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kan., will be planned for a later date.

Proceeding her in death are her parents, Thurston and Grace Reeves; as well as her two husbands, Lee Bley and Buck Cousins. She is survived by her devoted brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Setsuko Reeves, and Michael and Brenda Reeves; her loving children, Randy and Karen Bley, Tina and Dale Moore, Chuck and Shawna Bley, Greg and Robyn Bley, Alma and Warren Jones and Roger Cousins; 14 grandchildren (Tosha, Mindy, Michelle, Dale, Skye, Burk, Brady, Austin, Heather, Beau, Rachael, Seth, Dane and Tehya); and her 12 great-grandchildren.
