Imogene Nall

Imogene Nall, 92, Nevada, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Barone Alzheimer's Care Center in Nevada. Imogene was born Oct. 29, 1924, in Horton, to Robert Lee and Mina Lee (Shaw) Chrisenbery. She was united in marriage to Max Nall on April 15, 1944, in Fort Scott, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 1993.

Imogene was born and raised in Horton. She attended school in Metz and later received her GED in Springfield, Mo. Imogene lived in Vernon County until 1997 and then relocated to Belton, Mo., to be close to her daughter. She has attended the Rinehart Christian Church since the age of 11.

Survivors include a son, Bennett "Ben" Nall and wife, Rita, Nevada; a daughter, Nancy Null and husband Mike, Cleveland, Mo.; grandchildren, Theresa Nall, David Nall, Dan Nall, Doug Nall, Beth Rodgers; great-grandchildren, Shelby Nall, Garrett Nall, Alexander Rodgers, Lucy Rodgers, Dylan Nall; great-great-grandson, Reed Spencer; several nieces, nephews; other relatives; and special friends. In addition to her husband Max, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, great-grandson, Jackson Rodgers, three brothers, Kenneth Chrisenbery, who was killed in action while serving in Korea, R.E. Chrisenbery, Richard Chrisenbery; three sisters, Mae Forkner, Edith Pettibon, and Nellie Broughton.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 21, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service.
