Jackie Hammer

Jackie Hammer, 81, of Altamonte, Fla., formerly of Nevada, died on Aug. 1, 2016.

He was the son of James Allen and Florence Jenna Hammer who lived in Nevada from 1935 to 1957. Jackie graduated from Nevada High School. He joined the Air Force in 1954. Later he worked for the Department of Justice in Seattle then in Arlington, Va., where he retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Joe and Donald.

Jackie was buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
