Lady Tiger swim team makes state tournament-qualifying relay time

The Nevada Lady Tigers' 200-yard Medley Relay team has earned a trip to the state tournament after setting a new school record with a time of 1:57.40 at Saturday's Springfield Invitational (hosted by Glendale High School). The Lady Tigers placed eighth out of 30 teams, as the state-qualifying cut-off time for the relay event was 1:58.25. Nevada's medley relay team is comprised of Carlie McCaffree, Makayla Haner, Peyton Claypool, and Megan Hold.

* 200-yard Medley Relay: Makayla Haner, Peyton Claypool, Carlie McCaffree, and Megan Hold; 8th out of 30, 1:57.40 (New school record).

* 200-yard Freestyle: Paige Webb, 27th out of 65, 2:22.23; Aly Lunkenheimer, 40th, 2:31.26.

* 200-yard Individual Medley: Makayla Haner, 19th out of 41,2:35.06; Janna Scotten, 24th, 2:43.93; Hallie Short, 37th, 3:05.54.
