Major funds raised for NHS track entrance

A major fundraising effort brought in $23,500 for the construction of a new entrance to the Testman Track Complex on West Hickory Street, home of the Nevada High track-and field team.

The fundraising effort, held in April of 2016, was under the direction of Martha Cubbage and Amy Ast, former co-directors of the Nevada R-5 Foundation, according to a press release from the foundation.

Recently, Nevada R-5 Superintendent Tyson Beshore, was presented the check by Nevada R-5 Foundation Director, Kevin McKinley.
