Another jail lawsuit

On Wednesday, June 7, attorney Thomas John Porto of Kansas City, filed a civil case in Vernon County on behalf of Harry Dale Foreman, Jr., who had previously been arrested by deputies of the sheriff’s office.

Named as defendants in the personal injury lawsuit are Vernon County, its commissioners, sheriff and jail, along with deputies Eric Terry and Joseph Housel along with inmate, Darris K. Meyers.

As of press time, the defendants contacted – including the commission and sheriff’s office – had not yet been served and so had no information or statement to make on the case. Details on the case and statements will be published next week.

i m betting there are federal agencys watching to see if senior judge James (fix it Bickel )plays any part of these jail cases
