Steven Roy Hall

Steven Roy Hall, 65, of Raytown, Mo., passed away on Aug. 22, at Healthcare Resort, Olathe, Kan. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. memorial service following at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 30, at Blue Valley Baptist Church, 1325 S. Ridgeview Road, Olathe, Kan.

Steven was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Hall; mother, Marceita “Blanche” Hall; and sister, Connie Moffatt.

Steven was born July 19, 1952, in Kansas City, Mo. He graduated from Spring Hill High School in 1970. He was married to Cindy Peak and they had one child, Keri. The marriage ended in divorce. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Frankfurt, Germany, where he met his second wife, Evelyn Vath, and they had one child, Eric. That marriage ended in divorce. He had several career paths including farming, military, airlines, hospitals, electrician and truck driving. He was a hard worker and was somewhat a perfectionist. He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family.

Steven is survived by his son, Eric Hall, Frankfurt, Germany; daughter, Keri Gordon, Amsterdam, Mo.; brother, Charles Hall; sister, Cheryl Diane Sawicki; brother, Gregory Henry Hall; sister, Kelly Gonzalez; two granddaughters, Madilyn Gordon and Maranda Gordon; one great granddaughter, Kinsley Jenkins; and his faithful companion, Debra McGuffey.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 31, at Worsley Cemetery, Bronaugh.
