Patty Sue Ragan

Patty Sue Ragan, 58, Grandview, Mo., formerly of Nevada, passed away on Friday, Jan. 26, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City following a lengthy illness.

Patty was born June 28, 1959, in Nevada to Frank Junior and Rhoda May (Russell) Burdick. She grew up in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School with the Class of 1977. Patty moved to the Kansas City area in 1994 and has resided there since that time.

Survivors include four children, Jennifer Ragan, Kansas City, Mo., Warren Ragan, Grandview, Mo., Tara Ragan, Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, Samantha Ragan, Kansas City, Mo.; three granddaughters, Maele, Gabriel and Mia; one brother, Jerry Burdick, Sheldon; one sister, Susan Floor and her husband Earnest, Carl Junction, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Larry Burdick; two sisters, Betty Pettibon and Nancy Hogan.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Today at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with the Rev. Terry Mosher officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
