Barbara Lea Stewart, 57, Nevada, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 18, at Medicalodges in Nevada.

Barbara was born Sept. 15, 1960, to Milo Dee and Bonnie (Trammel) Sutcliffe in Colorado Springs, Colo., at the Air Force Academy. Barbara lived in New Mexico and moved to Nevada in the early 1970s where she operated the Grandma and Grandpa Café on Osage for a few years. She will be remembered by her family as a very compassionate and helping person. Barbara loved going to church and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She also loved gardening and farm life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Libby Sword and Chris Stahlheber. Barbara is survived by her husband Paul Stewart of the home; two sons, Albert Mitchell Pryor, Newton, Kan., and Norman Andrew Pryor, Nevada; one step-daughter, Stacie Ann Stewart Holcomb (Shannon), Las Vegas, Nev.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; step-mother, Sharon Sutcliffe, Nevada; three sisters, Julie Bee Gray (Jack), Nevada, Sara Mae Nelson, Joplin, Mo., Laurie Tidwell (Billy), Belton, Mo.; five brothers, Milo Andrew Sutcliffe (Barbara) Dixon, Mo., Jimmy Dee Sutcliffe, Springfield, Mo., Mark Jackson, Nevada, P.J. Trammel, Olathe, Kan., Paul Trammel, Olathe, Kan.; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and special friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, at Christ Church in Nevada with Pastor Robert Fox officiating. A guest book is available for signing at Ferry Funeral Home.
