Danny Paul Slater

Danny Paul Slater, 59, Polo, Mo., died Feb. 25, in Liberty, Mo.

He was born on Sept. 29, 1958, in Ohio to Irene Schlicher and was raised in Texas.

Danny married Betty Payton of Nevada, on May 17, 2003. He was preceded in death by his mother; a sister, Bonnie Slater; and a step-son, Douglas Lynn Payton.

He is survived by his wife of the home; two daughters, Leslie E Slater, Houston, Texas, and Jessica Marie Slater, Willis, Texas; a brother, Rocky Slater, Victoria, Texas; and two grandsons.

The visitation and celebration service will be held at Richmond Assembly of God, 303 S. College, Richmond, Mo., on Saturday, March 3. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. and the service at 2 p.m.

The family requests no flowers.
