Lady Tigers place second at Neosho Open House track meet

The Nevada Lady Tiger track-and-field team opened their season with a second-place finish at Tuesday’s eight-team Neosho Open House track-and-field meet.

• Lady Tiger first-place finishes, included: Calli Beshore, 1600-meter run; Sydney Ernsbarger, 400-meter dash; Patience Lockhart, 3200-meter run; and the 4-by-400 meter relay team, comprised of Ernsbarger, Beshore, Zoie Farmer, and Kaeth Zachary.

• Lady Tiger second-place finishes, included: Zachary, 300-meter hurdles; Amara Pippin, 1600-meter run; Beshore, 800-meter run; Farmer, 200-meter dash; and Morgan Smith, pole vault.

• Lady Tiger third-place finishes, included: Pippin, 800-meter run; and the 800-meter relay team, comprised of Hallie Bond, Zachary, Ernsbarger, and Farmer.

• NHS boys first place finishes, included: Devin McHugh, 400-meter dash; and Kayden Ast, long jump.
