Jessie “Dorene” Hiestand

Jessie “Dorene” Hiestand, 86, Nevada, died Sunday, July 29, 2018, at her home in Nevada, following a brief illness. Dorene was born Oct. 23, 1931, in Eaton, Colo., to Joseph Leslie and Jessie Lee (Loven) Barger. She married Wayne Hiestand on April 29, 1955, in El Dorado Springs and together they had one daughter.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, at Ferry Funeral Home, in Nevada, with Pastor Terry Mosher officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park in Nevada. Friends may call Wednesday and until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
