Election results in Vernon County

While statewide returns had not been made final at press-time, with 55.81 percent (7,256) of eligible voters (13,002) in Vernon County having cast ballots, these are the unofficial county returns for the candidates, judicial ballot, Missouri constitutional amendments as well as statutory measures.

The five registered parties in Missouri are Republican (Rep.), Democratic (Dem.) Libertarian (Lib.), Green Party (Green) and Constitution (Const.). For statewide office, a candidate may be listed as an independent (Ind.) by submitting at least 10,000 valid signatures of registered voters while for local office the requirement is at least two percent of the total number of voters who voted at the last election for candidates for the office being sought.
