Sallie Ann Howrey

Sallie Ann Howrey, 56, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2018, at Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada. Sallie was born Oct. 10, 1962, in Nevada, to John Louis and Sally Bet (Belcher) Howrey.

Sallie grew up in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School Class of 1981. Following high school she was employed by 3M in Nevada for 15 years. Sallie enjoyed drawing. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and her friends. She was a very devoted Christian. Sallie was known for her big smile and caring personality.

Sallie was preceded in death by her mother and father. Survivors include a sister, Debbie E. Swait, Springfield, Mo.; one nephew, Joshua Swait, Ozark, Mo.; one niece, Hannah Swait, Springfield, Mo.; great-niece, Ali; and great-nephew, Cohen; and extended family and special friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 14, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Betty Plush officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home.
