No contest: Lady Tigers level Lamar, 68-30

In Thursday night prep basketball action, the Nevada Lady Tigers steam-rolled rival Lamar, 68-30.

The Big 8 Conference West division road victory improves Nevada to 9-2 overall and 3-0 in the Big 8 West division.

Like they have done so often this year, the Lady Tigers came out torching the nets, quickly going in front 7-0, as Nevada shooting guard Alison Bower dropped in five of Nevada’s first seven points.

Nevada kept the pedal to the metal, as five first quarter triples, punctuated by Calli Beshore’s buzzer-beater — handed the Lady Tigers a lopsided 27-8 advantage at the conclusion of the opening frame.
